Enchilada Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons of chili powder (optional substitute 1 tablespoon with chipotle chilis in adobo sauce for a smoky flavor)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
Directions:
Heat the oil on medium heat in a saucepan. Whisk in the flour and seasonings. Pour in the vegetable broth and whisk until smooth, about 10 min. Store in a mason jar.
