A good friend of the family, Kim, introduced us to chalkboards. She uses her chalkboard to wish her children Happy Birthday, post a menu for a special meal, or share special sayings and quotes. A chalkboard has now hung in our house for many years. A friend of our daughter once said “I always know what is going on in your house, based on the chalkboard quote.”
